End Of Year Blockbusters 2007

in this short post, i'm gonna do something different.... i'm gonna sum up the storylines of several movies i saw in the past month in just one sentence with it's review in another sentence... yea lame i know....

first movie is Enchanted... Story: Cartoon princess comes to New york only to learn that her true love is not cartoon prince but Mr.McDreamy with lots of obstacles in between to find the one person who can share with her the over exaggerated True Love's Kiss.. Review: Kinda kiddie stuff for ppl who has watched mature romantic movies like The Notebook etc. but it's a feel good movie which is bound to bring smiles to ppl's faces especially those who loves musical rom-com's (romantic-comedy)... Rating:3.3/5

second movie Golden Compass... Story: a story about a girl who has a golden compass who searches for the answer to the mysterious Dust with some predictable twists like Mr.James Bond who is the girl's father.... Review: overhyped piece of movie with a rather poor direction and weak storyline although polar bears fighting in snow is one of the sexiest fight scenes and most violent one too in a kid's movie but the ending battle scene was badly executed and left ppl gaping and grumbling as they left the cinema... Rating: go watch Narnia and u know what i mean... 2.6/5

third movie, Alvin and The Chipmunks.... Story: the guy from My Name Is Earl who is a songwriter enlists the help of Alvin and the gang to sing the songs he composes with plenty of challenges that are pretty similar to the crap movie Garfield... Review: Certainly better than Garfield due to the cuteness of the chipmunks themselves and does not try to pretend to be a smart man's movie but watch it only if u still have the younger side in you... Rating:2.7/5

fourth movie, I Am Legend.. Story: some sort of KV virus infected everybody on Earth with Will Smith being last man standing and surviving alone in the middle of New York with nocturnal man eating zombies.... Review: the premise, trailer and will smith's acting was great and it has scary elements at the same time pleasing action fans but the rather average ending made it into a not-so-great-after-all movie... rating: 3.6/5

fifth movie, Aliens Vs Predator 2 aka. Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem.... Story: Predator ship crashes, face hugging aliens begin reproducing and it boils down to one predator and bunch of stupid humans to stop the both of them from destroying the human race... Review: a lame movie with predictable scary moments which tries too hard on being cool when it's not and there's definitely no acting at all with plenty of stupid dialogue although watching ppl's head get blown off and witnessing Queen Alien french kissing a pregnant lady was rather cool... Rating: Golden Compass>AVP2 (i guess i'll give this a gud 1.8/5)

sixth movie, National Treasure 2.... Story: Continuation from part one with a different story line this time, involving Ben Gates and gang searching for The Lost City Of Gold to clear his great grandfather's gud name who was suspected to be the one involved in masterminding the assasination of Abraham Lincoln... Review: Kinda interesting at first but it goes downhill at the end due to its weak ending but there'll be part 3 so don't worry.. Rating:3.1/5

therefore, i hope my review has been of great help to those ppl who are waiting to download clear copies of movies that i've mentioned and to those who frequently visits the video pirates...

Siblings

ho ho ho... merry xmas...today i'm not gonna blog on some weird spammer named woooooots or mr. seriel sex.... if he fucking appears on my fucking cbox, i'm gonna ban his fucking IP and report it to the fucking authorities rite away... cuz my blog is free of sexual harassment and profanities... we want to create a safe environment for the kids =)



today we are gonna talk about siblings... what are siblings??? if u ask a person who has 4 siblings she may say something like this...

but if u ask someone who has no sibling of his own, u might hear things that are nice... like how much they want a sibling and siblings are angels that are there for u when u need them... but i beg to differ... as a single child i do feel bored once in awhile... and maybe sometimes i do need a sibling to be there for me... cuz i don't want to grow up a loner... but sometimes having a sibling especially a younger one makes u very insecure....



i'm a selfish git to be honest...cuz i told my mom and dad once not to have another child cuz i feared that i might not enjoy the best in life... i might have to share everything with my other sibling... although it doesn't affect me nowadays but sometimes i do wonder what is it like to have a real sibling... at least i have lots of pet sisters and heng dai's that i treat as my own sibling but what if....

but of course u wudn't want a sibling who has an age gap of around more than ten years older than u...cuz it just doesn't seem right.... try imagining, the older one comes crying on the shoulders of her five year old sibling after a break up... or a younger sibling comes asking the older sibling on questions that are hard to answer

but nevertheless, having a sibling is sometimes not a bad thing at all...to those who have them, at least cherish them and stop calling them monsters.... cuz when they grow up, they'll either love u and give u money or they will come to u and ask for money....

prom nite 2007

on the 19th of December, surians had their long awaited prom night... everybody anticipated this shit so much that many had sleepless nights thinking of what they were gonna wear to the prom.. i was one of them too... in the end i managed to solve all the probs and there i go....

so i arrived at sunway at around 5.30.. the event started at 7.15... so what did i do to waste time? well, i went gaying around with gregory and ivan in their hotel room.... erm... when i arrived at Sunway, i proudly went into the Sunway Hotel to search for the room i have booked... but mana tau i gave jesslyn a call and she told me that i had to walk to the hotel next to Sunway Hotel cuz that's where i'm gonna sleep for the night.... my proud expressions indefinitely turned into a sour one as though my heart has been ripped to a hundred pieces.... ahaha...

enough with the melodrama.... after that everyone arrived and then we took off from the Pyramid Hotel to the actual Sunway Hotel.... then i awaited the arrival of my date... then we went into the function room where the prom actually took place.... so the food was kinda average for the price we had to pay.... i managed to take part in one of the three games played... anyway, the one thing i noticed about our prom nite is that it's totally different then what i've seen in Hollywood films... the ppl here don't dance and my friends from aussie Khew and Khai confirmed that with me... they said ppl in Aussie were more eager to dance than to makan...

but luckily Khai and Khew and Andrea started things off on the dancefloor... or not it wud've been some kind of Racoon City u see from Resident Evil... but the boys danced more than the girls and we danced all these dirty dance moves with ppl of the same sex so lim peh feel lim peh is kinda gay lor.... some more lim peh grind my dick with other boys butt oh.... so crazy.... i ended up getting tossed in the air too... yi syuen flew high up in the sky too... the sight of yi syuen flying up in the sky was very astonishing as he flew up real high.... i think he'll be a great aeronautic engineer...

so the Prom King and Prom Queen were Keng June and Patricia... both highly deserved the award although i didn't see Patricia's catwalk...but Keng June's rendition of Lam Fung's song from The Drive Of Life was fucking ownage.... he lip synced cuz he didn't know the lyrics and guess what.... he went to his girl and started holding hands with her and danced with her... if u were there, u'll be like "ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY BRILLIANT".... so after that the DJ finally played the slow songs and it was time to dance...ahaha.. the dance was pretty amazing *winks*

the night ended pretty well...after the prom we went searching for a place to eat supper...and guess what the KFC in Sunway opens for 24 hours.... after feasting we went to get two bottles of heineken each for ourselves...after drinking it was dirty dancing time for me and my gay friends.... after that teik chi was kinda wasted with kuan yee..they went out again after their drink... at first i thought that they were going out to cool themselves down...bt mana tau teik chi came back with another bottle of carlsberg.... so i helped him finish half of it.... at around 6 a.m. i went to sleep in the tub and i called it a day

2 Guys 1 Cup

on some day last week, yen aun hosted a cool party which allowed friends to get together.... and boy, lots of memories were made there... hippo, poi yen and Yen Aun were the cooks of the day and i have to say that their cooking was pretty alright... but i feel deeply saddened that no one ate hippo's spaghetti sauce...haha... no offense... but the ABC/Tom Yam Soup was awesome and the spaghetti and the mashed potatoes kick ass better than the 2girls1cup video....

the highlight of the night wasn't my stunt of jumping across a pond like a SoHai but rather it was the surprise birthday party we had for kitmun... best part was kit mun's boy boy who came all the way from somewhere far away juz to give her a surprise...and the atmosphere was so romantic that i felt like taking my clothes off.... anyway, the night was a cool one cuz it ended with a disgusting video i watched on the net...

on saturday, me went to Ben's house to overnight... this was because we were gonna join PK and Poi Yen in KLCC for an MPO performance... the place was a really high class place and u can't act like Phua Chu Kang cuz they will banish u from that place with immediate effect... and no handphones once u're in the hall... that's because when i took out my phone, a few SecretService-like ppl came over and asked me to keep it... and boys had to pakai a blazer.... since me and Ben are like orang asli's we had to camwhore in the toilet with the blazers we pinjamed from Petronas....yes, Petronas makes blazers too...ahaha... soon u'll see Petronas with boutiques like Louis Vuitton and Hugo Boss

the MPO show was excellent and definitely worth my every penny... after that hippo and I went on a tour around KL as we didn't know how to get back to connaught but thank god that we managed to find our way... we stopped by at jesslyn's and did some discussions... after that we went home with mcdonalds as our supper... and ben's mom gave me a really warm reception when we reached home at 1 o clock.... but it wasn't the same for ben... ben bought a cup of sundae... basically reminded me of the disgusting vid... this time it's 2Guys1 Cup.. ahaha... so being a guest has certainly got its benefits... but Ben's family gave me a really gud time there...so THANK YOU BANYAK BANYAK to Ben and family....

nxt day i went to Sunway UniCollege with Ben and family... there were lots of talks... and my skool's gonna start on the 3rd January next year... I'll be taking MUFY (monash Uni Foundation Year).... it is fondly known as MUFY (pronounced as Mah-Fee)..... but i can't help laughing at the CIMP (canadian international Matriculation Programme) cz it's so weird if u were to pronounce the acronym.... CHIMP??? yea i know...i have a weird kind of sense of humour... the day ended up okay and LIVERPOOL went down to MU even though Van Der Sar was gay....

Did You Get What You Deserve? MCR OWNS

on the 9th of December, me and Yen Aun took off to Pavillion early in the morning to do some gay window shopping and we met michelle in Padini..she was busy giving her customer an excellent service...so we didn't disturb her..but we did some catching up with her later... she seemed damn busy and time was like money... after lunching at some kind of weird pasta restaurant that overcharged me, we went to Lot 10 to get two bottles of mineral water for the MCR concert which we eventually forgotten about when we stepped into the stadium....

so me, Yen Aun and Pao reached the stadium at 4 o' clock sharp..there were many ppl who were there already.. and gates were only opened at 6.35.... so we had fun waiting... at 5.15, me and kahwei needed to go to the loo to answer nature's call... so we walked and walked in search of a toilet...we went into a temple nearby but there were no toilets.... and then we walked till we almost reached petaling street... still no sign of a toilet...in the end, yen aun called and told me that they started checking bags and tickets...so me and kah wei had to run from petaling street to the stadium...

and jesslyn wasn't there yet... cuz she was in Malacca with her family... so i was kinda pissed at first cuz the initial plan was if jesslyn arrives late, i have to come out of the stadium to lead her to where our Surians were... i was like, "what the hell man..what if the front row already occupied? have to stand behind lor..." but thank god she managed to reach in time.. and by the way, u can actually bring ur camera's even though they say u can't.... the RELA officers don't give a shit what u bring into the stadium anyway...

so as soon as the gates were opened, we ran into the field and we got front row for our section... our tickets cost RM253 so we were in the middle..not too front and not too back....the opening act was One Buck Short... the lead singer was awesome cuz he jumps all over the stage although he was kinda huge like a sumo wrestler... but i can't make out the words he sang though.... they played 5 songs... and soon, it was Pop Shuvit's turn... watching Pop Shuvit was like a yearly affair for me.... anyway, Moots was brilliant... but he rapped so fast that i can't understand anything he sang as well.. all i heard was "old school rocka" "pump up the stereo" and "jump"...

they played five songs as well... and soon it was time for the moment we are waiting.... but they made us wait for 45 minutes.... we were standing and it was hot.... everybody was bored to bits... until they played Basket Case on the radio of course... everybody was singing to the words of the song... after the 45 minutes, the backdrop was in place and everyone was ready, the lights shone on stage and u can see the band...

they opened with "This is How I Disappear"... followed by another song which i can't remember... cuz all i knew was i was singing to the songs and jumping like a mad man.. and when they played Dead!, i can see the crowd was going wild... KahWei was wild... Gerard Way was as cute as ever... he censored his F words when he talks to the crowd but lets loose his Fuck's in the songs... Cute indeed... thank god his vocals were okay that nite... and Toro, the guitarist with the huge 80's hair was fantastic... he had so much energy in his hair and guitar playing.... it made me forget that MCR had another two guitarists....

when they sang I'm Not Okay, the crowd were like high on marijuana... singing from the start to the end... and i was lucky... i got to see Jesslyn mutter the F-word in the line "i'm not o-fucking-kay".... so i was surprised but who cares... it was an energetic performance... they played songs from their last two albums.... but they focused more on The Black Parade album... too bad they didn't play Disenchanted which made Boon Han disappointed but he still loved it... Toro gave us a look at his cool shredding skills with a 3 minute guitar solo...

when they played Mama, the crowd chanted the magical words, "Mama, we all go to hell".... but the highlight of the concert has got to be when the band played I Don't Love You and Cancer... Everyone sang to I Don't Love You... and it felt as though it was a very romantic song although the lyrics say otherwise... but it touched me alot.... there was only a keyboardist playing when Gerard sang an emotional Cancer.. there were lighters up in the air... but i wished the crowd cud've shut up and not sing with him because this song is a very meaningful song and is best enjoyed without any disruptions.... the worst part is the crowd sometimes sang it faster than Gerard...

the encore was "Desert Song" an unreleased track... it was like an unplugged session cuz there were no electric guitars... only acoustic ones are used for the song.. they closed the show with Famous Last Words... all of us relieved ourselves in the toilet rightafter the concert... we saw Shaheila and Max Choong at the concert... basically, it was worth my 200 bucks.... the rain did not affect the crowd at all.. Malaysians love MCR... MCR didn't get bottled and thrown with golf balls... nuffsaid, eff-ing awesome =)
